Laramie Police Seek Information on Dog Bite
The Laramie Police Department is trying to track down a dog and its owner after someone reported being bitten Wednesday afternoon.
The person was reportedly bitten at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Fifth and Russell.
The dog was at large with no owner seen in the area, according to a news release from the Laramie Police Department. The victim described the dog as small, weighing roughly 20 pounds, with straight white hair and a dark-colored collar with tags.
Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of the dog or its owner to call the LPD Animal Control Division at 721-5385, or the non-emergency Dispatch line at 721-2526.
Animal Control emphasizes that since victims could be exposed to rabies, all animal bites must be reported immediately.
