Jack Rosenthal, a well known radio and television broadcaster from Casper has died at the age of 80.

Rosenthal began his broadcasting career in 1957. He purchased an interest in KBBS radio in Buffalo and did the same later with stations in Newcastle and Rawlins. He also became general mmanager and vice president of KTWO Radio and Television based in Casper back in 1964.

In 1969 he Continued his list of accolades when he was named executive vice president of Los Angeles' Harriscope's Broadcasting Corporation. Then in 1977 he became the president of Harriscope's broadcast division. He was responsible for radio and television stations in Los Angeles, Chicago as well as elsewhere.

Other honors he received during his life time are the Alfred L. duPont Award and was also inducted into the Wyoming Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2002.
