A 25-year-old Cheyenne man is behind bars after allegedly hitting a woman and their baby girl.
According to arrest records, police were dispatched for a welfare check on Thursday, June 1, at about 3:51 p.m.
Police say when they arrived, a female yelled, "Please help me."
The woman reportedly told police that Tyler Kendall hit her multiple times in the head, dragged her by her hair into a bedroom, and then kicked her.

Police say Kendall refused to speak to them.
Kendall was subsequently arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on charges of domestic battery and felony child abuse.
Kendall made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court Friday afternoon, during which he was informed of the charges against him.
His bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 12 at 10 a.m.
