Rock River senior Mikayla Alexander has committed to play volleyball at Central Wyoming College in Riverton. Alexander will attend CWC on academic scholarships. She was a four-year starter as the setter for the Longhorns. Now, she’ll have an opportunity to compete at the next level.

Alexander was selected all-conference four times and all-state twice during her high school volleyball career. She led Rock River to the Class 1A volleyball state tournament in 2022.

The senior also plays basketball for the Longhorns. She’s a four-year starter in hoops and has been chosen all-conference twice. Alexander helped Rock River reach the 1A state basketball tournament last year.

Central Wyoming College competes in Region IX at the NJCAA level. The Rustlers were 11-21 in the 2023 season.
