People love sweet holiday treats, but it can often be difficult to find time to make your own as the holidays near. A unique event in Laramie provides people with the chance to get those holiday favorites without struggling to find the time and make the effort to make them.

The Women of the Moose Chapter 423 in Laramie are hosting a Holiday Treats Bazaar. The bazaar takes place on Sunday, December 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Moose Lodge at 409 South Third Street.

The event is similar to the traditional holiday bazaar, only this one only features edible holiday treats—perfect for those who don’t have time (or just don’t want to) bake. Goodies include things like cupcakes, chocolates, truffles, cookies, breads, granola treats, gingerbread men and much more.

Those wishing to sell items will find reasonable prices for a booth starting at only $10 for adults and $5 for tables with a youth baker (under 16 years old). To reserve a table, contact Patricia Flores at 745-7271.

In addition, there will be a People’s Choice Treat Contest this year with awards for the favorite treat from youth and adult bakers. Vendors are encouraged to provide small samples of the specialty item for the contest.
