The third annual Higher Ground Fair returns to the Albany County Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday with a wide variety of activities for all ages.

The Higher Ground Fair celebrates rural living across six Rocky Mountain States. This year’s event features music, demonstrations, shows, guest speakers on topics from sustainability to habitat, plus a marketplace, and more.

Gayle Woodsum with Feeding Laramie Valley joined host David Settle during the “Laramie Live on KOWB” radio morning show this week. She talked about all that’s going on over the two days at the county fairgrounds, the mission or goal of the weekend, about Feeding Laramie Valley, and more.

The Higher Ground Fair goes from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Then it’s 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 for those ages 13 and up. Anyone 65 and older is $8. 12 and under are free. To buy tickets ahead of time, including weekend passes, or for more information, visit highergroundfair.org.
