Grand and Ivinson Couplets-Ask the City

Question:

Are there any plans to make Grand Avenue and Ivinson Street one-way streets from downtown to 15th Street to help relieve traffic congestion?

Answer:

"The city has not considered using Grand Avenue and Ivinson Street as couplets. A concept of one-way couplets utilizing Grand Avenue and Garfield Street between 3rd Street and Boulder Drive was considered in the 1970s and 1980s and was reflected in previous versions of the Major Street Plan. The couplet plan was removed from the Major Street Plan in the early 2000s."
