The final day to see Idaho artist Gerri Sayler’s site-specific installation in the University of Wyoming Centennial Complex lobby will be Saturday, June 22.

Installed in 2012, “Interstitial: Between Earth and Sky” was inspired by the Wyoming landscape and the building’s architectural space. Made from hundreds of strands of hot glue suspended by monofilament, the installation shifts throughout the day as the sunlight and weather change.

“Interstitial: Between Earth and Sky” was the concluding installation of the exhibition, “Sculpture: A Wyoming Invitational,” that had its premiere in 2008.

Sayler has completed two artist residencies in Wyoming and has created site-specific installations in locations throughout the northwest United States. She lives in Idaho.

The museum is located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free.
