An exhibit that explores the differences and similarities of cultures in India and North America, will be on display in the University of Wyoming Student Union next week. “East Meets West” will be in Gallery 234 of the University of Wyoming's Student  Union between March 10 and April 10.

Follum’s artwork, while addressing the stereotypes of developing countries, attempts to capture a realistic beauty of India, as well as the juxtaposition of waste and its effects on America.

“East Meets West” is one of the events of the Shepard Symposium on Social Justice; Follum hopes it will encourage cultural dialogue and arts advocacy throughout Wyoming.

A reception for this exhibit will be held in the Student Union on April 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information, contact Ashley Hildebrandt at (307) 766-6340 or email
