Wyoming Cowgirl head basketball coach Joe Legerski is seeing some change in his staff for the first time in a few years.

Legerski has hired Bojan Jankovic as a new assistant coach. He comes to UW after spending the last five years at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK.

In a release from the university, Legerski said, "We are very fortunate to add a talented coach the caliber of Bojan Jankovic. He brings a wealth of experience on the court and will provide a boost in our recruiting efforts."

Jankovic has also coached at Centenary College in Louisiana and the University of Ozarks. In addition, he has experience with coaching various levels of international basketball.

The reorganization of Legerski's staff was prompted by the departure of assistant Katie Kern. She stepped down to pursue other opportunities. Also, assistant Mike Petrino has shifted to the role of Director of Recruiting.

The Cowgirls are looking for another assistant to fill Petrino's old position on the staff.

Here is a little more in-depth look at Bojan Jankovic's hiring and experience.
