CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — John Corra is retiring as head of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality after serving for nearly 10 years.

Gov. Matt Mead announced Monday that Corra will retire in October from the post he’s held since March 2003.

Mead says DEQ has established a reputation for reasonable regulation and a professional approach under Corra’s leadership.

Corra says it’s been an honor for him to serve in the post for two Wyoming governors.
