Winter is well on the way and as any true Wyomingite knows winters can be very cold, and at times, very long. In an effort to help people save money on their winter heating and energy costs experts are eager to share many different ways on how to save money this winter.

Cheyenne will be hosting the 3rd annual Energy Save workshop on Friday, October 21st from 1-5pm. The event is free and open to the public and will be held at the Little America.

The free Energy Save workshop is organized by several businesses and organizations including AARP Wyoming, Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power and Habitat for Humanity. Wyoming Public Service Commissioner Cindy Lewis will speak about predictions for winter heating costs. Others will speak about telephone and heating bills and assistance in payment matters as well as incentives that are available for homeowners.
