Let's break down the steps to get your house in tip-top shape for spring. Here is a checklist for you.

Every room needs the following steps taken

  • Wash baseboards, doors, window sills, ceilings, and walls
  • Vacuum and wash vents
  • Wash all window treatments
    • Curtains
    • Shades
    • Other window coverings
  • Wash all windows (Inside and Outside)
  • Dust and clean overhead lights and replace light bulbs
  • Change batteries in smoke/ carbon monoxide detectors
  • Straighten all power and audio/visual cords.
  • Check fire extinguishers
  • Sweep the front and back porches, decks, and patio
  • Store winter decorations, items, and clothing.
  • Clean all computer keyboards and mouse.

Kitchen Tasks

  • Clean out pantry
  • Wash cabinets (Inside and Outside)
  • Deep clean oven
  • Move and clean behind/ under the refrigerator
  • Vacuum refrigerator coils
  • Deep clean inside and outside of the fridge

Living Room

  • Dust/ Wash any mirrors, frames, and other home decor items.
