Big Laramie Duck Race Tomorrow At Optimist Park!

For the 7th straight year the Laramie Rotary Club will be racing hundreds of rubber ducks down the Big Laramie River! The Annual Big Laramie Duck Race this year will be on August 27th at Optimist Park and the Laramie Greenbelt.

The fun kicks off at 9am with a free pancake breakfast and the race will get started at 10am when theducks enter the water! For anyone interested in participating in the annual Big Laramie Duck Race tickets can be purchased from any Laramie Rotary Club Member, at the Laramie Boomerang, any member of a Laramie Blizzard Soccer Team or at the Albany County Library. A duck can be purchased for $10 or you can purchase 3 ducks for $25 and, you don't have to be present to win!

One lucky first prize winner will earn a

guaranteed $1,000.00! 2nd place will win $500 and $300 will be awarded to the 3rd place finisher. Benefits from the event will go to numerous clinics and programs and benefit UW as well as LCCC scholarships.
