Avalanche Release 2013-14 Schedule
The National Hockey League has released it's 2013-2014 schedule.
Colorado will open the regular season against the Anaheim Ducks October 2nd in the Pepsi Center. The Ducks will also be the first preseason opponent for the Avalanche on September 18th.
Colorado will have a very new attitude this season with former goalie Patrick Roy as head coach and former center Joe Sakic as Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations.
The Avalanche received the number one draft pick in the off season and selected center Nathan MacKinnon of Quebec.
