Authorities Still Searching For Horse Hair Vandal

The Albany County Sheriff's Office is looking for the person responsible for cutting off horse tails at the Spur Ridge Equestrian Community located south of Laramie.

The first incident occurred on September 27, the second on October 1. The vandal cut off 6-8 inches off of the horse tails. Similar crimes have occurred in Kansas City.

Owners of the horses have offered a $700 reward for information that leads to the apprehension of the vandal. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Deputy Yates by calling 307-721-2526 and reference case number 18-1144.
