An extraordinarily proud New England native, I was born in Northern Vermont and raised in a small border town called Franklin which boasts more cows than people and and exceptional views of foliage and Canada. At the encouragement of my father (an alum), I came to Laramie in 2007 hoping to become a Sports Journalist but quickly changed my mind and decided that I preferred talking over writing. Thus, I graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2011 with a degree in Communication. During my years at the University of Wyoming, I played a semi-mediocre role in the long-awaited rebirth of the UW Student Radio Station, serving as the station's first Sports Director and hosting a morning sports-talk show called 'Sorry To Wake You.' Frequently heard but rarely seen, I have been the Public Address Announcer for almost every sports team at the University of Wyoming and have announced a number of miscellaneous events (sports and otherwise) throughout the Laramie and UW community. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Loryn and my dog June. I enjoy playing almost any sport the Laramie weather allows, spontaneous trivia competitions and all music that sounds good. I fight regularly to defend the honor of the Boston Red Sox; I cheer for the San Antonio Spurs almost entirely because of my admiration for David Robinson; my favorite sports writers are John Feinstein and Rick Reilly; my favorite band is Barenaked Ladies.

3 CSU Football Players Suspended for Alleged Assault
This weekend, three members of the Colorado State University Football team were suspended for undisclosed reasons. There was speculation that the suspensions were in connection with the assault of four CSU freshmen who were beaten while walking home from a Friday night party, and now, these speculations have been substantiated as CSU head football coach Jim McElwain announced that he had suspended indefinitely the individuals the three football players involved, adding that he would not remove them from the team until the investigation was complete.
Conservative Group Challenges Lummis’ Tax Support
Last week, Wyoming Representative Cynthia Lummis voted in favor of a federal budget proposal calling for nearly $2 trillion dollars in tax increases. Being one of only 38 Congressmen in the 435-member U.S. House of Representatives to vote in favor of the budget, the group Americans for Tax Reform has challenged this vote by Lummis, questioning why she would support the budget proposal.

Public Comments Sought for State Wolf Regulations
Wolves and wolf management are issues that have certainly been buzzing and circulating across the entire mountain west region for some time now, with recent discussion to end federal protections of the animals and allow wolf hunts. Public sentiment toward the wolves have not commonly been seen as popular, especially with recent actions of wolves in the Jackson area; but now, that public opinion is being sought by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to gather feelings toward the new wolf management and wolf hunting regulations.
Semi-Expert Elite 8 Predictions – South & Midwest [LIVE UPDATES]
I don't care if I'm jinxing myself, I have predicted the winner in 6 straight, and was only two total points off the margin of victory for the two games yesterday. I'm like Hansel, I'm so hot right now. I didn't end up seeing the Food Fight or whatever it's called at the matinee showing yesterday, which is probably to credit for my continued success; and if today goes as well as yesterday, give the glory to the knockoff Apply Jacks I'm currently wolfing down. Since there are only two games today, just as yesterday, in addition to the scores/outcomes for the games, I will provide a bonus prediction. Also, since I was got half of my bonus predictions yesterday, I don't count those in my total percentage of correct picks, because it could do damage to my ego.
