Albany County Public Library Free Tax Program 2017

The Albany County Public Library is hosting a free income tax program for the 12th year running.

The program is open to individuals and families whose incomes are $60,000 or less annually. Tax preparation help will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

Professional tax help will be available on the following Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays:

April 10

Wednesdays

February 1, 15, 22

March 1, 8, 22, 29

April 5, 12

Saturdays

February 4, 11, 18, 25

March 4, 25

April 1, 8, 15

Individuals planning to get their taxes filed with this program will need: W-2 forms, social security numbers and birthdays for household members, other relevant tax forms such as 1099s and 1098s, as well as a copy of your 2015 taxes (if possible).
