The Friends of the Albany County Public Library have announced the dates for the organization's annual Spring Book Sale. The sale, which is hosted in the basement of the Albany County Public Library, will take place from Tuesday, February 27 through Saturday, March 3.

The hours will be as follows:

Tuesday, February 27- 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Preview Night, members of Friends of the Library only)

Wednesday, February 28- 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 1- 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Friday, March 2- 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Half price day)

Saturday, March 3- 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The last day of the book sale will also be the sale's Bag Day, where customers can purchase all of the books they can fit into a medium-size bag for $7, or a large bag for $10. The sale may also help participants of the Albany County Public Library's Winter Reading Challenge complete the "book bought at a book sale" challenge item.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Friends of the Library and the Albany County Library foundation, which help purchase materials for the library.
