Accident Slows Holiday Travel on US 287 South of Laramie

An accident on US Highway 287 about 12 miles south of Laramie impacted travel for the holiday weekend Friday.

Laramielive.com reader Heather sent us the photo of backed up traffic at 3:29 p.m. As of 4 p.m. there was still backed up traffic northbound on US 287.

The Memorial Day holiday weekend is typically a busy one for travelers trying to get to their destination Friday before the long weekend.
