2014 Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt
Registration and sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 2014 Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt which will be held Oct. 9-12.
The Wyoming Women's Foundation created the hunt to foster camaraderie and mentorship among women. Proceeds from the event are used to aid the foundation’s mission to invest in the economic self-sufficiency of women and the future of girls in the Cowboy State.
The Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt, which emphasizes safe and responsible hunting, is a guided event which takes place at the Ranch at Ucross in northeast Wyoming. Experienced hunters are paired with women of minimal experience for a weekend of family bonding. Rebekah Smith, Project Coordinator with Wyoming Women's Foundation, explains one of the goals of the Women's Antelope Hunt: Rebekah Smith Clip on Women's Hunt Goal
There are 40 available spots on the hunt. Women with all experience levels are encouraged to participate. For more information call (307) 721-8300.
