Unless you secluded yourself in a bomb shelter without communication, it shouldn't be news to you that the Cubs have won the 2016 World Series.

But let's start up the time machine and see what Wyoming was like the last time the Cubs won in 1908. Check out these front pages of Wyoming newspapers from the last time the Chicago Cubs won the World Series in 1908.

Other front page stories feature Railroad Magnate Harriman being charged with getting land underhandedly, two japanese men dying from a quarry explosion in Fort Collins, and a "stranger" confessing the knowledge of an assassin who bombed an Oregon sheriff.

These great historic pages are available at the Wyoming State Archive.
