The Wyoming Air National Guard's 153rd Airlift Wing will change command on Saturday at 9:00 a.m., when Colonel Brad Swanson relinquishes command to Colonel Paul Lyman.

Colonel Swanson served as Wing Commander for 18 months. He has accepted an assignment at the National Guard Bureau in Washington, D.C. as the Air National
Guard's Director of Plans and Programs.

"The men and women of the 153rd Airlift Wing are among the best I've worked with," said Colonel Swanson. "I am honored to have served as their commander."

Lyman has served as Vice Wing Commander for the last 2 1/2 years. He has been a member of the Wyoming Air National Guard for 18 years and has deployed
for Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

"The 153rd has a long history of successes and I am honored to have the chance to lead the wing and continue that legacy," said Colonel Lyman. "We will remain
trusted and needed at home and around the world."
