Wyoming State High School Volleyball Championships

For the third consecutive year, the Laramie Lady Plainsmen volleyball team opens play at the state tournament against Evanston.

It's championship time on the volleyball court at the Casper Events Center.

For the second time in the last three seasons the Rock River Lady Longhorns have made it to the state volleyball tournament.

It’s a journey that began a couple of years ago, and one that the Laramie Lady Plainsmen hope to complete this weekend.

After a rough start, the Laramie Lady Plainsmen brought home hardware with a third place finish at the 4A State Volleyball Championships last weekend in Casper.

The 2016 Wyoming State Volleyball Championships begin Thursday and go through Saturday at the Casper Events Center.

It was a tough and quick end to the state volleyball tournament for both the Laramie Lady Plainsmen and Rock River Lady Longhorns.
