Hillary Carlson scored 2o points, grabbed eight rebounds and blocked six shots to lead the Wyoming Cowgirls to a 70-to-51 non-conference victory over the Seattle Redhawks Wednesday night at the Arena-Auditorium.

Wyoming (13-4) used seven 3-pointers in the second half to pull away.  Aubrey Vandiver and Jade Kennedy knocked down a combined five 3's, while Randi Richardson and Bec Campigli each added a trey in the second stanza.  The Cowgirls shot 45 percent from the field, which included 10-of-30 from beyond the arc.

After Seattle (5-15) got within six, at 46-40, the Cowgirls utilized a 22-4 run to coast to the win.

Vandiver scored 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds.  Chaundra Sewell added 11 points.

The Redhawks were led by Elle Kerfoot with 11 points, all in the second half.  They shot 33 percent in the game.

UW began the game on a 9-0 run and led 35-25 at halftime.

The Cowgirls return to MWC action Saturday when they host the Air Force Falcons.  Game time is 2 pm at the Double-A.  Radio coverage starts at 1:30 pm on KOWB.
