Mock Bio-Disaster Exercise Continues Across Wyoming
A mock biological disaster, “Operation Prairie Eagle”, continues this week with emergency response partners across the state participating. The Exercise requires mass distribution of anti-biotics in the face of widespread anthrax contamination. The practice scenario began last Friday in Natrona County and involved the Governor requesting from the Center for Disease Control medication from the Strategic National Stockpile.

So far weather patterns suggest this may be an uncomfortable year for trout. The last couple springs have been wet and cool with plenty of runoff, but this season is already unseasonably warm and runoff, what remains of it, is well below average.
