Outdoor Adventure Offerings From The Wyoming Wilderness Association
The Wyoming Wilderness Association has a list of outings scheduled for this summer that offer interesting and creative ways to get out into the back country of Wyoming.
The schedule includes hikes, both long and short, difficult and easy and in the company of a range of outdoors people who know the country. Twenty-two outings are scheduled, the first is this weekend and the majority are free.

Dan Speas Fish Rearing Station west of Casper is now a hatchery as well. Wyoming Game and Fish managers held a grand opening Friday and demonstrated the loading up of 5000 lbs of trout in less than 15 minutes destined for a Wyoming reservoir.
Volunteer Evacuation Continues Near Douglas Well Blow Out
About 67 people remain evacuated from a neighborhood northeast of Douglas after a well blow out Tuesday. The incident occurred at a Chesapeake Energy site around 4pm.
“They were casing the well yesterday when they had a flow control problem, or blowout. There were no injuries on the rig. They got everybody off the rig and the rig shut down and there was a lot of natural gas coming up out of the ground.”
