Young Boy Struck at Crosswalk in Cheyenne
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Cheyenne police are looking for a motorist who hit an elementary school student at a crosswalk and then left the scene.
The Associated Press reports the boy was struck near Hebard Elementary School at about 3:40 p.m. Thursday. He was treated at a hospital for minor injuries and is now recovering at home.
Police say the driver of the light-colored Cadillac was a black man with dreadlocks. He was last seen heading west on East Fifth Street.
