Wyoming QB Sean Chambers is Ready for a Full Season

The countdown to the season opener continues for the Wyoming Cowboys and quarterback Sean Chambers.

The redshirt freshman appeared in four games and started three in 2018, but his first year in the brown and gold was cut short due to an injury in the Air Force game.

Due to a new NCAA rule, despite appearing in those four games, Chambers was able to retain his redshirt year, which means he still has four years of eligibility left at UW. After surgery and winning the QB battle in spring, Chambers is prepping for a full season of leading the Pokes' offense.

Chambers ran for 329 yards and two touchdowns last season. He was 15-25 passing for 266 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. Chambers complete 60 percent of his passes and had an efficiency rating of 188.98.

The Cowboys take on the Missouri Tigers Saturday in Laramie at 5:30 p.m. in War Memorial Stadium.
