University of Wyoming indoor track and field is now in the heart of its 2019 season and hosts the Powder River Dual against Montana State Saturday in Gillette.

After the Power Meet on Dec. 7, 2108, and last weekend’s NDSU Team Challenge in Fargo, ND. Wyoming’s short season is less than a month away from the Mountain West Conference Indoor Track Championships.

This year marks the sixth consecutive dual against the Bobcats in Gillette at the Campbell County Rec Center. Field events are underway, while track events begin at noon.

Seniors Ja’la Henderson and Jerayah Davis lead the Cowgirls’ indoor squad, while senior Bryce Ailshie and sophomore William Nolan lead the Cowboys’ contingent.

Bryan Berryhill is in his seventh season as head coach of the UW track and field/cross country programs.

He previews the Powder River dual and what’s going on with his team.

Wyoming indoor track and field has just two weekends of competition before the MW Championships Feb. 21-23 in Albuquerque, NM.
