As the 2019 Memorial Day Weekend approaches, the leader of the Wyoming Highway Patrol recently discussed the unusually high number of fatal accidents that have been recorded on Wyoming roads and highways so far this year.

In his presentation, Col. Kebin Haller pledged his agency to do everything possible to stem the number of fatal accidents the state has seen so far this year. Among other things, Haller warned motorists who are stopped for traffic violations that they should expect to receive a traffic citation.

He also challenged motorists to obey traffic laws, use their seatbelts, and generally drive safely.
