Wyoming High School State Golf 2016

Green River, Powell and Gillette host the 2016 State Golf Tournaments.

All competition is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 24th.

All-State: There is no voting. To get all-state recognition, a golfer MUST place in the top 10 scoring-wise at the state meet.

4A at Green River:

Teams Participating: Green River, Rock Springs, Evanston, Jackson, Natrona, Kelly Walsh, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne South, Laramie, Gillette, Sheridan, Riverton (Boys Only)

Riverton competes in 3A for all sports for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 school years, however the boys golf team opted up and are competing in 4A.

2016 Champs:

Boys Individual: Easton Paxton (Riverton) - 4-peat.

Girls Individual: Kynsie Valdez (Natrona)

Boys Team Champ: Riverton - 4-peat.

Girls Team Champ: Kelly Walsh (First title)

3A at Powell:

Girls Individual: Macy Jacobsen (Lander) - Repeat

Boys Team Champ: Wheatland - First title since 1991.
