Women who love the great outdoors have a unique opportunity this summer, courtesy of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. The camp is called Becoming an Outdoors-Woman, or BOW. It's an outdoor skills program designed to help women learn new skills, including the basics of archery, fly-tying, canoeing, shooting skills, backpacking, and wildlife photography.

According to Game and Fish, The BOW camp will be held near Buffalo at the YMCA Of The Bighorns Camp, June 23rd through the 25th.  It's open to women ages 18 and older, regardless of their skill level, and the cost is $150.00, which includes all meals, lodging, and equipment. Space is limited to 35 women, with participants selected through a random draw with some stipulations.

The deadline for applications is April 15th at 5:00 p.m., and the applications must be submitted by mail, they will not accept faxes or email. All of the application materials and information are available on the Game and Fish website, and you can mail your applications to:
