Wyoming Faces A Tough Missouri Tigers Team
The start to the 2019 college football season is upon for the Wyoming Cowboys, who host the Missouri Tigers today at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.
Kick-off is at 5:30 p.m. and the game is on radio, (AM 1290 in Laramie or AM 1030 in Casper) or TV (CBS Sports Network).
Wyoming will try to pull an upset against a Mizzou team that’s ranked just outside the top 25. The Pokes enter as 17.5 point underdogs to just the second SEC team to visit Laramie.
While it’s time to get serious about the season, we bring you a twist going into this opener by asking the Cowboy players their interests and likes and dislikes away from the field.
KOWB’s David Settle caught up with Garrett Crall, Austin Conway, Alijah Halliburton, Xazavian Valladay, Tyler Hall, and Sean Chambers to ask them about Star Wars, other interests, the best ‘impression’ of Coach Bohl, which assistant coach they like that’s not their position coach, and more. Settle even asked Coach Bohl about impressions. His answer was brief.
Now, for a more serious look at the match-up and what Wyoming is up against. Here’s a preview of today’s big game.
The Cowboys are 3-10 all-time versus teams from the SEC conference but have won three of the last five games against schools from that conference.
