Wyoming Equality, a gay and lesbian advocacy group, will be hosting an event welcoming an end to the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy. The event will take place on  Tuesday September 20th in Cheyenne at the Plains Hotel from 6pm-10pm.

The gay rights advocacy group is excited that the United States Military will no longer kick out gay military service men and women. The "don't ask, don't tell" police dates back to the 1990's and will expire on Tuesday, September 20th. To celebrate the end of the policy Wyoming Equality will be hosting a social event. The event will feature a cash bar, appetizers and a silent auction
