CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's Republican congressional delegation was divided on the measure that ended the partial federal government shutdown and guaranteed that the United States would pay its debts.

Sen. Mike Enzi and Rep. Cynthia Lummis voted against the measure on Wednesday, while Sen. John Barrasso voted for it.

Enzi, who is facing a primary challenge next year from Liz Cheney, says the spending deal fails to address the growing federal debt.

Lummis says she opposed the deal because it continues the practice of laying the "financial burden of today's reckless spending on the shoulders of our children without one dollar of spending reduction."

There was no immediate comment from Barrasso's office.
