In his “State of the University” address on Thursday, University of Wyoming President Tom Buchanan announced that he will be leaving his post next summer. He’s held the position since 2005, meaning he’ll have served in his current capacity for eight years.

Buchanan has overseen plenty of change during his time at the university. There was the start-up of the new School of Energy Resources, the Hathaway Scholarship for in-state students, the lobbying at the state legislature for more funding towards academics and athletics, the remodeling of current buildings and facilities, construction of new buildings and much more. So you can tell that there’s lots to reflect on when thinking about Buchanan’s time as University President.

A lot of the focus on the community centers around the university, which is why we want to know your opinion on Buchanan’s time at UW.
