JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — Antiques dealers, homeowners and even a theater company have snapped up Western-themed decor at an auction that cleared out a closed Jackson steakhouse.

The Associated Press reported Wednesday that more than 115 bidders bought signs, cowboy hats, branding irons, tabletops and other pieces at the Nov. 1 auction of the Teton Steakhouse's decor.

The restaurant closed Oct. 28 after 27 years in business. A new restaurant is planned at the same location.

Bidders included antique-shop owners, steakhouse patrons and the Jackson Community Theater, which bought cowboy hats, a lantern and a washtub for use as props.

The highest-price item was a large wooden black bear that went for $775. It was purchased by a couple from Naples, Fla., who declined to give their names.
