The Wyoming Coaches Association Girls Basketball All-Star Game on Saturday certainly was loaded with talent. The South team just made a few more plays than the North and prevailed in the game 66-51. The North had a very hard time containing Douglas center Allyson Fertig who had 25 points and 31 rebounds. Then again, most teams in the state would have a hard time dealing with her.  Angela Astorga of Wyoming Indian was also in double-figures with 13.

The North team was led by Sydney Solem of Thunder Basin with 13 and Darla Hernandez of Worland had 9.  Brooklyn Hyrek of Natrona got into the game for a bucket and she injured her knee during the week's practice. It was a good way to end their high school athletic careers for everyone involved. Check out our video of the game on Saturday. Enjoy!
