The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2221 and Auxiliary American Legion Husted-Pendleton Post 14 and Auxiliary will be conducting Memorial Day Services around town on Monday May 30th in honor of Memorial Day.

The Days services will begin at 8am at the Harmony Gardens located on Wyoming Highway 230. At Harmony Gardens there will be a flag raising, invocation, rifle salute and taps will be played. From there services will continue at the Laramie River Bridge.

The Laramie River Bridge is located on West Garfield. At this location there will be a naval remembrance service and a memorial wreath will be hung followed by a rifle salute and taps. The service at the bridge will begin at 8:30am.

At 9am veterans and other will gather at the Veterans Flag Pole Memorial located at the Albany Courthouse where a flag raising, and invocation will be presented followed by a rifle salute and taps.

The morning's services will conclude 10am at the Greenhill Cemetery next to the Grand Army of The Republic Monument. A full service will be presented including the reading of a memorial day address and Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.

After the completion of ceremonies the VFW Post 2221 and Ladies Auxiliary will host a luncheon for all participants and veterans  from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the VFW Post 2221 located at 2142 Garfield.
