University of Wyoming Classes Begin August 31

Classes at the University of Wyoming for the fall 2015 semester will begin on Monday, August 31.

Students can move into UW residence halls starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 27. The Cowboy Parents reception will be help on August 27 from 2-4 p.m. in the Washakie Center Fireplace Lounge. Freshmen living in the residence halls and their parents are invited to the Washakie Center’s Welcome to Wyoming dinner the same day from 4-6:30 p.m.

The annual President’s Welcome Barbeque will take place on Wednesday, September 2 from 5-7 p.m. on Prexy’s Pasture.

Everyone, including members of the public, is invited to attend the Cowboy Kickoff Concert and Pep Rally, featuring Josh Turner. The concert will take place on Friday, September 4 beginning at 6 p.m. Gates for the event open at 5:30 p.m.
