University of Wyoming & Wyoming Community Colleges Recieving Grant Money

The University of Wyoming as well as Wyoming's community colleges will be receiving federal AmeriCorps grant money. The grant money is funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service.

Money from AmeriCorps will go to help fund economic, education, environmental, health and other needs in Wyoming communities. This year the University of Wyoming received $217,000 through AmeriCorps. The University of Wyoming can then extend the grant program to all of the community colleges across the state.
