Some areas in Undine Park may be closed for a few days for large tree pruning.

Large equipment will be used to prune large trees west of the Undine Playground and at multiple other locations in Undine Park from 8:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5, 2015.

Large tree pruning may continue in various locations in Undine Park on Monday, June 8 and on Tuesday, June 9, 2015.  Areas where pruning is occurring will be closed to public access.

The work area will be clearly marked with orange traffic cones and yellow caution tape.  The park area closure is in place to provide for public safety.

According to a Parks and Recreation Department release, this maintenance activity may cause noise and saw dust outside of the work area. The City asks that residents please keep children and pets away from the area for safety.  Walkers, joggers, and cyclists are asked to give a wide clearance of the area as well.

Please contact Randy Overstreet at 307-721-5338, or David Schott, Parks Manager at 307-721-5264 with any questions or concerns.
