Her name is Pamela Torres and she is a U.S. Marine who is running across Wyoming to honor her fellow fallen servicewomen, according to Marine Corps Times.

Pamela started her journey last week on Tuesday, May 28th, and it ended today, Tuesday, June 4th. Her goal was to run from Cheyenne to Rawlins, which is a total of 161 miles in seven days. Pamela trained for one year for this Valor Run, she said the hardest part for was the elevation and weather. But the best part was running in the wide-open landscape.

The Valor Run began back in 2014 with Nancy Lacore, U.S. Navy Captain, as she completed the inaugural 160-mile Valor Run raising $33,000 for two nonprofit organizations. Pamela did this run to honor the 161 U.S. Military women killed in the line of duty since 9/11.

Thank you to U.S. Marine Pamela Torres for all that you have done and are currently doing for our soldiers.
