UPDATE: The testing will now start at 10 a.m.

The center of the NFL Draft universe will be Laramie, Wyoming Friday, as the University of Wyoming’s Pro Day featuring Josh Allen takes place.

The former standout quarterback will be among nine draft-eligible Cowboys that will go through testing in front of NFL scouts and team personnel from across the country.

The NFL Network and ESPN will both be providing coverage of the Wyoming Pro Day.

NFL Network will be live with their “Path to the Draft” show beginning at noon, Mountain Time. Mike Mayock will be reporting.

ESPN will have taped coverage on their digital platforms throughout Friday afternoon, and also some featured pieces on ESPN SportsCenter. Reporters Todd McShay and Mark Schwarz will provide coverage.

In a release from the university, Wyoming Athletics Director Tom Burman said, “This is great exposure for our university, our athletics program and our state. We wish all of our student-athletes who will be going through Pro Day all the best on Friday and in their futures.”

Cowboys' head coach Craig Bohl said,

“We are excited for the young men in our program to have the opportunity to be evaluated by top NFL personnel. This is another step as we move Cowboy Football forward. The national recognition created by these seniors is certainly welcome, and we hope the foundation of success that they have helped establish propels us to future success.”

The desire to create a professional testing environment during Wyoming’s Pro Day means the event is closed to the general public. Only NFL team personnel and credentialed media will be allowed to attend.

In addition to Allen, eight other draft-eligible Cowboys will be testing. They are offensive lineman Ryan Cummings, long snapper Kolton Donovan, cornerback Rico Gafford, defensive back Tim Kamana, defensive end Nela Lolohea, defensive back Jalen Ortiz, cornerback Robert Priester and fullback Drew Van Maanen.

Testing will begin at 11 a.m. with the bench press. The rest of the testing will be conducted in Wyoming’s Indoor Practice Facility.
