It was the first time an elusive wolverine was caught on camera on the Reservation, and officials described it as "cheeky".

The images were caught on trail cameras as part of ongoing research.

A wolverine has been recorded on an Idaho Fish and Game camera in west-central Idaho as part of a four-state study to determine where the elusive mammals live.
