The Cheyenne Police Department took 31 local kids shopping at the Livingston Avenue Cheyenne Walmart on Friday.

Walmart is one of the largest employers of any retailer throughout the country. They're also a go-to retailer for so many communities in the nation as they've thrived for decades. But have you ever wondered how many people work there?

On Thursday the nation's largest retailer said it had removed the displays due to “civil unrest” in some areas of the country.

The event will be taking place between August 7 to August 9.

Gordon said he supports the rights of businesses to take steps to protect their employees.

They will be stationed near the entrance to remind anyone entering the store about the new mask requirement.
