The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will be accepting public comment during their meeting next Wednesday, Feb. 14, as well as discussing a number of other issues.
The UW Board of Trustees considered possible changes to out-of-state and online tuition as well as moving to a 'block tuition' system to increase enrollment of out-of-state and nonresident students, as part of a capacity study conducted by Huron Consulting Group.
According to the Governor's press release issued Wednesday, the program provided tuition assistance to 162 veterans at Wyoming's seven community colleges and the University of Wyoming.
The commission likely will not make a decision regarding the policy until this fall, which means any changes would not go into effect until the 2017-18 academic year.
