The driver of the passenger car did not see Palmer's motorcycle, the Patrol says, and changed lanes, hitting Palmer.

McGee says large numbers of eclipse watchers descended on the state from the west, south and the east.

Traffic was stop and go on Interstate 25 on Monday morning as they last of the eclipse seekers made their way north.

Be prepared to stop, and expect long delays.

Those wishing to avoid heavy traffic are encouraged to stay a little longer and enjoy Wyoming while traffic thins out.
