The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds have cancelled their July 22 performance at the "Wings Over Warren Airshow," according to the Wyoming Tribune Eagle.

F.E. Warren Air Force Base will play host to the first ever "Wings Over Warren Airshow" on July 22, the base announced Tuesday afternoon.

To facilitate social distancing on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Rico says leaders are exploring the possibility of a "drive-in" show.

Cheyenne Frontier Days officials plan to keep the Thunderbirds air show at F.E. Warren Air Force Base for the "foreseeable future."

An estimated crowd of 5,000 turned out to welcome the Thunderbirds back to F.E. Warren Air Force Base Wednesday.​

Entrance to the base and free parking will be available from 6 to 9 a.m.
